Men may only participated in singles, one doubles, one mixed doubles and the handicap event. Ladies may have two entries in Singles, their own and the closest in (younger) age, one entry in Doubles and one entry in Mixed Doubles plus the Handicap.
In the case of fewer than four participants, we reserve the right to cancel or merge one event with another.
Our ambition is that everyone should be able to play as much as possible and it may therefore be necessary to make adjustments based on the registrations.
DRAW
The draw will take place on the day of the game, for the qualification groups, the Consolation game and the main competition. List of participants, timetable and results will be available at resultat.ondata.se and in the arena. We will use the Cancellation which must be made no later than 60 minutes before the class starts to one of the competition leaders.
Everyone who wants to participate in the Consolation must register at the secretariat after the group play has finished.
Event information
(all events except the handicap event)
All events are played in a group stage with 3-4 players in each group and the top two go to the main competition. The 3rd and 4th are allowed to play consolation. The matches are played in best of 5 sets. All groups are played on Saturday. The main competition, also consolation, are played on Sunday except for the mixed doubles event, where both group stage and playoffs are tentatively placed as the last event on Saturday. The finals will, if the schedule allows, be played as a final session with doubles and singles finals. Everyone who wants to participate in the Consolation needs to report to the secretariat after the group play. This is to avoid W.O. matches.
(handicap event)
In the handicap class, each player is assigned a handicap that will be based on the data ranking. For international participants, we will assign a handicap based on results in previous games in the competition. Handicap can be both positive and negative. A set can e.g. start with one player starting at 6 points and the other at -3 points. There will only be one handicap event, regardless of age and female/male. The handicap event is scheduled for Sunday afternoon. It's a group play but no consolation. The matches are played in best of 3 sets and the top two in each pool advance to the playoffs.
Awards
In all classes, 50% of the net entry fees will be paid out in cash prizes. How many prizes are awarded depends on the number of participants in each class. In the Handicap class, we have Happy Tammsvik as a sponsor. First prize will be SEK 4000, second prize SEK 2000, 3rd-4th SEK 1000 and 5th-8th SEK 500.
Sanction
The competition is sanctioned as a C-competition by SBTF. This means that the players themselves judge in the qualification games and also in the Main event / Consolation, either by themselves or with a voluntary referee.
